Our product design objectives were carefully chosen to ensure all of our systems would offer the benefits and features both needed and desired by today’s pilots and owners/operators, including:
• High reliability
• Small size and light weight
• Industry-leading performance
• Professional-grade design and appearance
• Low cost – the lowest-cost, full-function systems available
Our initial line of automatic flight control systems is a family of products designed specifically for the rotary-wing market using a building-block modular philosophy that allows the products to be installed and operated, together or independently, based on the owner’s needs at the time of purchase. If they change in the future, the system can be upgraded to meet the latest requirements without the owner losing his initial product investment.
In 2014, the company received the FAA Technical Standard Order (TSO) for its family of 2- and 3-axis autopilots, with and without SAS/SCAS, and the Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) for installations in the popular Robinson R44.
These are the first, and only, autopilots to be approved under the new FAA TSO-C198 and RTCA DO-325 MOPS.
STC projects are underway for the Robinson R66 and Airbus H125 (AS350), followed by the Airbus H120 (EC-120) and H130 (EC-130), Bell 407 and Sikorsky S-61.
Airplane versions of the autopilot family are in development with planned availability in late 2015 and early 2016.
The SAS-100 is a stability augmentation system designed to improve basic rotorcraft stability and stability in turbulence. The system defaults to “ON” and operation is transparent to the pilot.
The Cool City Force Trim System is designed to give the pilots of light to medium-sized helicopters some “hands free” time to perform other activities, or just relax for a bit.
The unique SASPlus (SFT-100) system combines a Stability Augmentation System with a Force Trim System.
The HAP-100 is a digital, full-function, 2-axis (pitch/roll) autopilot system for light and medium-sized helicopters.
The HFC-100 is a digital, full-function, 2-axis (pitch/roll) autopilot with a 2-axis (pitch/roll) stability and control augmentation system for light and medium-sized helicopters.
The HFC-150 is a digital, full-function, 3-axis (pitch/roll/yaw) autopilot with a 2-axis (pitch/roll) stability and control augmentation system for the light and medium-sized helicopters.
